ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Smart-Social Rural Entrepreneurship Programme (S-SREP) aims to empower young farmers by enhancing their social entrepreneurship skills and promoting the use of technology in sustainable rural development. The project strengthens the capacity of local youth workers and fosters cooperation among youth organizations working in rural areas to create innovative and inclusive learning opportunities for young people.

Through transnational collaboration between partners from Türkiye, Croatia, and Lithuania, the project seeks to provide young farmers with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to develop technology-based and environmentally responsible social enterprises.

Project Objectives

• Identify the needs of young farmers in establishing businesses and explore the use of technological tools in the agricultural sector across participating countries.
• Develop innovative educational content that supports young farmers in creating technology-oriented and eco-friendly social enterprises.
• Establish support mechanisms through both face-to-face and online channels to increase young farmers’ employability and entrepreneurial capacity.
• Enhance the skills of local youth workers who will guide farmers in their learning and entrepreneurship journeys.
• Promote cooperation among youth organizations to establish inclusive support networks focused on social entrepreneurship and technological innovation in rural areas.
